1945: Alex Wellington and group of scientists continue on experiments without government funding. Projects suffer and some scientists are ready to give up on the project. Shifts in government leanings cause the US government to decide to put an end to the Super-Humans and put their own emotionless ones in place. At the same time Anti-Gen strikes Gen in what seems to be the battle to decide all, the government steps in and suppresses all. A large battle ensues in which many die and the sides of the Genetic War disappear into merely 'survivors'. Those left scatter, many fleeing the country.
1947: Rumblings of change in Russia and China cause the Pentagon to divert funds from nuclear research to the Genesis project in hopes of formulating a response to the growing threats in the Far East without having to resort to blowing people to pieces.
1950: The first combat unit is made ready, consisting of four operatives who are sent to infiltrate China and assassinate Communist leader Mao Ze Tung. The operation is close to success when one of the operatives dies of what appears to be a heart attack. The remaining three attempt to finish the job, but the night before the attempted assassination two more operatives die of an appeared heart attack. The lone operative withdraws from China and flees back to headquarters, relaying his story.
Scientists discover within a few weeks that test subjects, upon reception of their powers, were granted a hyperactive metabolism. Due to the demands the powers placed on each of their bodies, the metabolism was a way the body attempted to support the powers. But, said metabolism would, after so much furious activity, burn out from all of the effort it was putting out to support the newly structured operative, causing essential nutrients to stop being absorbed into the bloodstream. Once the nutrients stopped being absorbed, the body would begin to fail, eventually leading to cardiac arrest.
1952: The shortened life cycle of the operatives continue as scientists are baffled. Operatives engineered in 1950 are dying two years later, leading to the government demanding more results as world conflicts begin to escalate.
1953: Alex Wellington proposes "The Genome Substitution", in which a strain of DNA would be implanted into the operatives genetic code. The DNA strain would sufficiently mutate operative DNA enough to where the body would operate at a higher temperature level of homeostasis, which would counter balance the higher metabolic rate.
1955: Genome substitution is a success, leading to an expanded life cycle for all operatives.
1960: The first training ground for all operatives is built, leading to an influx of trainees from all branches of the military. The Korean war is in full swing.
1965: North Korean forces are routed and pushes back across the DMZ due to the upswing of operatives in the military. America is safe.
1969: Operatives are now split up into several specialized division, each focusing on a specific aspect of national defense. Project Genesis is no longer a project, but rather a black ops organization controlled by the Secretary of Defense.
1972: Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation both put in requests for their own branch of Genesis operatives, claiming a desperate need for operatives. The request is granted, funneling operatives to both organizations.
1980: Three Genesis operations are a tactical failure as each operation takes the lives of hundreds of innocents. This is just the latest in several failures on the part of Genesis operatives to exclude civilian casualties. Genesis operatives begin to garner negative reputations.
1981: President Ronald Reagen cuts funding to the Genesis program until "necessary actions were made" to correct the rogue behavior of their operatives.
Fall 1981: Ethan Largo, then the overall head of Genesis, is replaced by straight laced Kyle Singler. Singler cuts ties with most Genesis operatives, having scientists strip away their powers.
January 1982: Ethan begins to recruit fallen Genesis operatives while Kyle restores the program back to it's roots, training most of the new recruits himself.
Winter 1982: After successful operations in the Middle East and East Germany, Genesis is granted funding by President Reagan.
1985: After several years of building, Ethan and his band of rogue operatives begin to wreak havoc in Eastern Germany, forcing Genesis to "clean up it's mess". A brutal war begins with Genesis and Ethan.
1988: Three years of back and forth struggles ensues before Ethan loses almost three fourths of his men in one single attack on their headquarters in eastern Prague. Ethan goes into hiding.
1990: The Genesis training facility is expanded to include at least fifty more operatives in response to the surge of turmoil in Iraq.
1991: George H.W. Bush assumes direct control of Genesis, making frequent visits to the complex. Kyle Singler is left in charge, but Bush has the final say on all major decisions.
1995: Singler retires and new President Bill Clinton installs the current leader of Genesis, Ian Hurd.
2001: New research shows that the human genome holds two hidden chromosomes that, when augmented, give the human another enhanced ability. Experimentation begins right away.
2005: Iraqi freedom enables operatives to strut their stuff, effectively beating back Saddam's forces and helping put the war to an end.
2011: Conflicts brew in the Middle East and there are mutters of Ethan Largo returning.

2014-2031: The Lost Years.
All the Super-Humans left from Genesis, Anti-Genesis, & Ex-Genesis have scattered, hiding out in various countries. Alexander Wellington, one of the original creators, took his family to England to go underground. He kept in contact with many of the operatives and old enemies from the past, keeping in touch and watching out for one another. Over all the countries that they have scattered to they have built miniature bases to take in Super-Humans under government pursuit. Through the years, they have stayed hidden and built up into a thriving but covert network of Super-Humans.
2032: Trent Wellington, Alex's adopted son, has watched and grown up with all the oppression they have suffered, and honestly, is sick and tired of it. He strikes out on his own, motivating the children of many operatives and government fugitives to rise up with him and take back their place as a new generation: Infinity.
